• Starting to your left, players are checked in turn — the first who holds a matching card must privately show you one.
• Use the notebook to track who has what, and rule out the real culprit, weapon, and room.
• When you're confident, make an accusation. Guess right and you win instantly — guess wrong and you're out of the running.
• Only one accusation per player, so choose your moment carefully.
• You may ask only one question per visit to a room — leave and come back (or use a secret passage) to ask again.
